Underground Spirit Week had the teachers and staff dressing in a theme for each day and kept the students guessing all week.
- Monday – “Color Out” where teacher teams wore the same color. Books and characters: Teacher from the Black Lagoon, Pinkalicious, Harold and the Purple Crayon, Black Out.
- Tuesday theme – “Glasses” like the book characters Superman/Clark Kent, Waldo, Amelia Bedelia, Harry Potter.
- Wednesday theme “Stripes” like in the book A Bad Case of Stripes
- Thursday theme – “Anything but a cup for water” like the Caldecott Book Award winner We Are the Water Protectors.
- Friday theme – “Letter/Word” like Chicka Chicka Boom Boom
