HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

FREE GROCERIES from the UTAH FOOD BANK MONDAY May 13:  On Monday May 13, the Utah Food Bank will be distributing a bag of free groceries to students and families.  The bags are heavy (20 pounds) and if you are able to either pick up your student at school or at the bus stop to help carry, that would be helpful.  Parents can meet their students as they exit the gym on the north side of the school.

FRESH PRODUCE MARKET Tuesday!  Our spring produce market runs on Tuesday through May 21.  A bag of fresh produce is available to families at no cost.  In addition there will bags of bagels from Einsteins Bagels who generously have donated to our community.  Parents can pick up a bag at 2:30 pm in front of the school.  Supplies are limited based on our funding.

  • Tip #1:  When you take time to notice positive experiences, even small ones, from your day it can help reduce stress.  This is a great way to end your work day and be present for your family at home.   (Harvard Business Review)
  • Challenge #1:    Each day, write down 3 positives, big or small that happened.  Maybe it’s orange chicken day at school or you got a front row parking space or someone made you laugh.  Notice and celebrate the good and positive things from each day.
