FAMILY NIGHT AT CLASSIC SKATE was (again) a big success! Thank you for supporting this PTA organized event.
READ ACROSS AMERICA capped off with an author visit on Friday by Mr. Johan Twiss. There are no books to read without authors to write them. Mr. Twiss engaged our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students on Friday in using their imaginations to “Be the hero in their own story!” Teachers and students wore and used various props to act out stories created by the assembly. It was wonderful!

UPFH MOBILE MEDICAL CLINIC MARCH 18 – At East Midvale Elementary’s front parking area. Call 801-998-2410 for an appointment. Clinic is for parents/families with Medicaid or who are uninsured.
ALL PRO DADS MARCH 19 – Fathers and father figures bring your students to a breakfast gathering at 7:45 am on Wednesday. The topic is Gratitude. Mr. Wilhite will show a video by Rocket Kids, will have discussion questions and an activity about gratitude. RSVP requested on this All Pro Dads March RSVP by Tuesday.
THURSDAY MARCH 20 SPRING PHOTOS – Bell Photo will be at East Midvale taking individual and class photos. Paper order forms went home last week in Thursday folders. Send form back with your student on March 20 with check or cash or you can order your package online at www.bellphoto.com using webcode: eastmidvalespr25. There are a limited number of basic packages available at no charge. Please contact Ms. McCall if you would not otherwise be able to afford these photos and would like them.

CAREER DAY – Consider sharing your profession with students at East Midvale on Friday April 18 from 9:00- 10:15 am! Parents, grandparents, friends, community members are invited to do (4) 15 minute rotations in different classrooms so that students can learn about various career paths. Free WIFI and INTERNET – Canyons District continues to provide free internet for families through Comcast Internet Essentials. To enroll, reply to this post or call Mrs. McCall at East Midvale at 801 826 8406. Ask for a Comcast Code. Then call Comcast at 1-844-963 0178 with the code.
USED CHROMEBOOKS are also available at no cost for families who do not have any technology at home for their students. These Chromebooks have been previously used in the District. There is no technical support provided. Please talk to Mrs. McCall or reply to this post.
