LIVING TRADITIONS FAMILY NIGHT – Families are invited on Thursday February 2 from 5:30-7:00 pm to see and learn about countries in Asia. There will be grade level displays on Thailand, Afghanistan, Maldives, Kuwait, Nepal and Japan. There will also be an art walk, a fun lantern making activity, Kenshin Taiko Drumming entertainment at 6:40 pm and a “taste of Asia” with fried rice.
5TH GRADE SCIENCE FAIR – Science Fair projects will be displayed during Living Traditions Night February 2. Fifth graders worked hard to create these projects and look forward to sharing them with our community.
SAFE PICK UP AND DROP OFF: The vehicle lane in front of our school is only to drop off or pick up your student. This should take less than a minute. At morning drop off, there is no parking or waiting for the bell to ring while in that lane. At afternoon pick up, if you are waiting for the bell to ring, you need to remain with the vehicle at all times. If you or your student needs more time to transition to and from school, please park in the parking lot and cross at the crosswalk flags. And please drive slowly and cautiously to keep all our students safe. Thank you.
CELL PHONE POLICY in CSD Elementary Schools – All student cell phones are to be in backpacks and turned off during school hours. If a student is seen using a cell phone, 1st time they will be asked to turn it off and put it away in the backpack, 2nd time, student will bring the phone to the front office to store it for the day and if there is a third time the parent will be notified and parent will need to pick up phone.
