Thank you parents and guardians for calling the attendance line at 801 826 8365. Please remember to include the student name, student’s grade and teacher, and the reason for absence when leaving a message.
Did you know? “Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school and themselves. Even as students grow older and become more independent, families play a key role in making sure they arrive safely to school on time every day.” -Dr. Brian McGill CSD Student Services Director.
Tardy Students: Students are considered tardy when they arrive after 8:15 am. Parents and guardians will need to check in their student at the front office if arriving after 8:15 am.
Plan ahead for checking student out at end of the day – Please consider that it takes time to check students out of class close to the end of the school day. When emergencies come up, we will do our best to be quick and efficient in checking your student out and we appreciate your patience. We begin the dismissal process at 2:45 pm with bus students.
Plan ahead for checking out during lunch times: Below are the lunch and lunch recess schedules. During that time, your student is not in the classroom and it takes more time to locate them and bring them to the office with their belongings. If you could plan to pick a child up either before or after lunch and lunch recess, it will take less time and effort. We hope this is helpful in planning.
