Thank you to 20 volunteers from Penna Powers for working so hard to create beautiful spaces throughout our school and add their hands to time consuming tasks like assembling cabinets.
These volunteers got their hands dirty in our community garden putting pavers around plants to keep them safe from little feet. They weeded and thinned existing garden beds. Teachers bring their classes into this space to teach certain lessons.
Other volunteers hung acoustic felt pads in color blocks in the gym and hallways to dim sounds but also to add pops of color and fun aesthetics.
And finally the crafty volunteers worked in the faculty patio space to finish decorating so teachers have a peaceful space to eat lunch and take a break in the cooler weather.
