Congratulations to Mr. Luke Wilhite, the East Midvale Teacher of the Year. Over a third of the parents whose students are in Mr. Wilhite’s fifth grade class submitted nominations expounding on the impact Mr. Wilhite has had on their student’s learning, confidence in learning and interest in learning! “He attends sporting events to cheer on his students, he wrote each student a welcome to my class note at the start of the year and his “let it flow” Fridays add his own personal flare to the week!”
Mr. Wilhite leads our All Pro Dads monthly meetings with dads and students. He weaves personal experiences, vulnerability and enthusiasm into the material he is presenting and everyone starts the day in a great mindset!
Thank you to our whole community for all the nominations submitted for TOTY. East Midvale has an excellent teaching faculty and the abundant nominations for all our teachers showed that our parents believe and support that idea!
