MOBILE FOOD PANTRY is Tuesday May 2 at 2:45 pm. Students can pick up a bag to bring home. Please plan to pick up your student or meet them at the bus stop to help carry the 20lb bag of food.
FRESH PRODUCE MARKET is also Tuesday at 2:30 pm. Parents can pick up a bag of fresh fruit and vegetables at no cost to our school families.
UTAH FOOD DISTRIBUTION on Friday May 5 at 10 am at Evangelical Free Church 7762 S. Main Street, Midvale UT. This is a community resource for free food and is unaffiliated with the school.
BIG SMILES DENTAL CLINIC – May 1 at East Midvale. If you gave permission for your child to be seen for preventative dental care, they will come home with a note about the exam.
PARENT NUTRITION CLASSES through University of Utah Center for Nutrition. This is a series of 3 parent classes starting this Friday at 9:00 am in our Family Learning Center. First class is on Healthy Eating. Food will be prepared and eaten. Presenters (with Spanish, Dari and Arabic interpreters) will discuss your child’s nutritional needs as they go through growth spurts. Next classes May 12 (Healthy Movement) and May 18 (Healthy Homes).
