CONGRATULATIONS to 4th grader Joseph Matias. In January 2025, he was the winner of the NAWIC block building contest at East Midvale. His excavator design and build went on to the NAWIC southwest regional contest which included 4 states in the southwest US. Joseph placed second in the region! Representative Patty Waldhouse from NAWIC along with the judges awarded Joseph his 2nd place award and prize on Friday in front of his class! We are so proud of this Eagle.
