Canyons District Board of Education recognized and celebrated all the 2024 Teachers of the Year on Tuesday April 23 at Butler Middle School. East Midvale represented at the event cheering on Ms. Fatai. Ms. Fatai is pictured above left with the 2021 Utah Teacher of the Year John Arthur. Mr. Arthur is a friend and a fellow Utah Teacher Fellow. He teaches 6th grade at Meadowlark Elementary School in Salt Lake and is running for the Utah State Board of Education District 7 representative.
