Monday is the first day of school for 1st - 5th grade! Welcome back!
- Things to know for the first day:
- All students at East Midvale get free breakfast and lunch. No need to pack a lunch.
- New backpacks are available on the first day if your student needs one.
- Please do a symptom check before leaving for school each day. Take your child’s temperature before leaving.
- Students should arrive to school in a mask that fits snugly around nose and chin.
- Please plan to arrive at school by 8:10 am. Students will enter the school at 8:15 am with their teacher. All students will enter the school from the grade level hallways at the back of the school. There will be no red carpet event. Please respect physical distancing of 6’ when helping your child line up.

- Facial coverings / masks are required for all students, parents and staff. This includes on the bus, before school and after school, and during school day (except lunch and recess).
- Dismissal from school for students walking home or being picked up is 2:45 pm Mon. through Thurs. On Friday dismissal is 1:10 pm for those students.
