East Midvale faculty and staff are working hard to prepare for a safe and successful return to school in whatever learning option our families have chosen.
- Save the date: Thursday Aug. 20 – Reverse teacher parade and virtual Back to School Night! Drive by East Midvale between 5-5:30 pm to wave hello to your new teacher! Welcome and Information videos and teacher classroom tours will go live at 6:00 pm.
- Reminder: School starts for grades 1-5 on Mon. Aug. 24 and for Kindergarten and Preschool on Thurs. Aug. 27. Please send students to school wearing a mask. The school is planning to provide a “school mask” as well if needed.
- Online students: Stay tuned for information on how and when technology can be checked out.
- Mobile Food Pantry Thursday Aug. 20 at 9:00 am at Mountain View Christian Assembly Church, 300 E. 8000 S. in Sandy. Sponsored through Utah Food Bank.
- Apply by August 31 for P-EBT benefits of $308 per student who attended East Midvale last year. Apply at pebtutah.org. If you already receive SNAP benefits, you need not apply. Funds will be loaded onto current cards.
- Call United Way of Salt Lake 211 for information on a free Chromebook or laptop.
