East Midvale has a special recognition for our long time school librarian Ms. Erickson. All last year, after working at East Midvale, she went to master level classes through Utah State University and was awarded a certificate in Para-librarianship this past summer. This program was the first partnership with CSD and USU and Ms. Erickson and other Canyons elementary school librarians participated. Congratulations Ms. Erickson and thank you for extending the learning in the classroom to learning in the library and helping students reach their literacy goals.
