Congratulations to 4th grader Charles P. who was awarded the AAA Safety Patroller of the Year Award. AAA Mountain West is a proud sponsor of Safety Patrol programs throughout the Western States at elementary schools. AAA provides equipment, resources, and support for advisors and schools. The goal is to keep students safe when arriving and leaving school.
Charles was one of nine elementary students awarded Safety Patroller of the Year – and the only one in the whole state of Utah. East Midvale’s Safety Patrol program also received a $2,000.00 prize to put towards needed program supports.
Charles exemplifies strong student leadership qualities and humility. He is always early to his weekly shifts, making sure all the equipment is set out and ready for morning arrivals. Charles is active on Student Council and also is a Junior Coach. He is a kind and conscientious leader and we are so happy to see him recognized! Congratulations!
