RECAP OF LAST WEEK MARCH 13-20
Green was the color of the day on St. Patrick’s Day. Many a leprechaun were blamed for messes left in classrooms and halls throughout the day! Ms. Sally added some excitement to lunchtime as well with her leprechaun antics.
Friday , the third quarter of school ended and spring began. Our kinder students were seen enjoying the community garden outside space.
Our fifth graders predicted and then jumped as Mr. Craig Moore added this and that to beakers making all kinds of loud and visually surprising chemical reactions.
*East Midvale”s Book Blitz team was seen practicing for their district competition on April 1. This team of five has been reading and discussing 6-8 books over the past several month so that they can answer all kinds of questions about character, plot, setting and theme.

Tues. March 24 – 5th grade runs Biztown. Thank you Junior Achievement for this amazing opportunity for our students! So much real world learning happens in Biztown.
