HAPPY EASTER!
Thank you to our Career Day presenters who engaged our students last Friday in learning about different career options. So many different professions, from electricians to engineers, to product and brand designer to police officer, from attorney to judge, from paleontologist to librarian, from car mechanic to higher education recruiters and so many more!
RISE TESTING BEGINS THIS WEEK! Over the next month, students begin year end assessments to show all the great things that they have learned this school year. Third through fifth grades begin RISE testing this week. Students will be encouraged to “Do their best on every test!” Parents – please help your student prepare and be ready to do their best with these tips:
- Encourage a good night’s sleep before a test and have them eat properly the day of a test.
- Make the morning of the test as relaxed and pleasant as possible.
- Strive for great attendance over the next month with on time arrival at school. Children generally perform better when taking tests in their groups rather than at a make-up time.
- Wish your child good luck each morning of the test. Tell your child that you believe in him/her!

WEDNESDAY APRIL 23 ALL PRO DADS: Fathers and father figures are invited to bring their students to a breakfast gathering at 7:45 am.
