Another school year is quickly approaching and we are working hard to get ready to welcome our students and families back for another great year!
ONLINE REGISTRATION opens tomorrow Monday August 5, 2024. ALL students in Canyons District need to register online or at the school to provide the most updated information. Online instructions can be found by following this link CSD Registration Information 24-25.
If you need help or technical support registering your students, please visit the East Midvale front office during the days and times listed below. Spanish interpreters will be available.

- Wednesday August 7 from 9:00 – 7:00 pm ** evening hours
- Thursday August 8 from 9:00 – 3:00 pm

Your student’s teacher assignment will be available in Skyward Family once you have registered. If you are registering a kindergartener, please remember to get the front office a copy of their birth certificate and immunizations.

CNS IMMUNIZATION CLINIC – If your child needs immunizations to begin school please come to our CNS Immunization Clinic on Friday August 16 from 9:00-11:00 am. Immunizations are no charge for our students.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
- Monday August 19th is the first day of school for ALL students Kinder through 5th grade.
- We welcome all our students the first day with a Red Carpet Event. Red Carpet happens on the west side of the school where all students line up with their new teachers before entering the school. Parents are welcome!
- Monday August 26 is the first day of school for preschoolers!
FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL FOR KINDERGARTENERS
Our Kindergarten students’ first day of school will be Monday, August 19th, the same as for all other grade levels. However, Kindergarteners will be on a half-day schedule Monday through Thursday (August 19, 20,21,22) attending school from 8:10-10:55 a.m. Bussing will be provided to and from school only for those students that are eligible for it during the half-day’s. All other Kindergarten students will need to be picked up by parents or guardians at 10:55 a.m. On Friday, August 23rd, Kindergarten will follow the regular early out schedule, with school dismissing at 1:20 p.m.
*Lunch will not be provided Monday-Thursday that first week. Breakfast will be available for pick up in the cafeteria before school and healthy snacks as needed in the morning.
Starting Monday, August 26th, our Kindergarten will be following the normal full day bell schedule.
NEW BELL SCHEDULE FOR 2024/25 SCHOOL YEAR: In order to accommodate increased planning time for teachers into the school day, Canyons Elementary Schools have added 10 minutes to the end of the school day to ensure that there is the proper amount of instructional time provided. This means that East Midvale will now be dismissing school at 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. School will be dismissed at 1:10 p.m. on early out Friday’s. Here is the bell schedule:
