Bell Photo has offered EME some scholarships for pictures for families that would like photos but cannot afford the cost. Please reply to this post or contact Ms. McCall if you are interested. MOBILE VISION and MEDICAL CLINICS at East Midvale on Tuesday March 19. If you received a permission form from Nurse Clegg, it needs to be returned on Monday (tomorrow) for your student to be seen for an exam and free glasses if needed. If you have a concern about vision, please contact Nurse Clegg. For Medical clinic, please call 801-998-2410 for appointment.
SPORTS and SPRING BREAK CAMP AT COPPERVIEW RECREATION CENTER
- Copperview Recreation Center is located at 8446 Harrison Ave. Midvale
- Spring Sport team programs include outdoor soccer, baseball and rugby
- Scholarships for families are available to cover the cost of participation. Families need to apply in person at the recreation center for scholarships.

- There are still openings for spring break camp April 1-5. Activities include rock climbing, swimming, movie theater, ice skating, arts & crafts and gym games. Scholarships for this camp are also available.

STUDENT HEALTH TIP of the WEEK from Nurse Amy – Childhood is a great time to start a positive body image. Here are a few tips!
- Be mindful of labeling any foods as “forbidden” – all foods can fit within a healthy diet just encourage mindful eating and moderation.
- Using food as a reward or withholding it as punishment makes eating and food a potential battle ground and it can often become an unhealthy means of control.
- Use positive comments (not judgmental ones) about body shapes and sizes. Encourage healthy and strong bodies.
