Last night East Midvale teachers, staff, parent and student cheered loudly and proudly for our EME TOTY Ms. Teasley. Of all the Canyons District 2023 Teachers of the Year, 3 finalists were picked – 1 from elementary, 1 from middle and 1 from high schools. Ms. Teasley was the finalist out of the 29 Elementary Schools!
A shout out to the Hillcrest feeder system in this recognition — all 3 of the finalists were from our feeder – East Midvale Elementary, Midvale Middle and Hillcrest High. Congratulations to Mr. Matthew Eddington, a math teacher at Midvale Middle who won overall Teacher of the Year 2023 and will represent Canyons SD at the state level.
