PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES are this week! If you have not already, please sign up for a 15 minute conference (either in person or on the phone). Thank you Assistance League of Salt Lake for donating new Scholastic books that teachers will be giving to parents after each scheduled conference!

- SPIRIT DAY: Wear Red or Pajamas or red pajamas!
- ACTIVITY: Caught you reading tickets for prize drawing of books featured this week!
- Tuesday February 28
- BOOK: We are in a Book by Mo Willems
- SPIRIT DAY: Dress like a character in a book for ex: Harry Potter glasses, scarf or Hogwart robe, Fancy Nancy feather boa, favorite color from The Day the Crayons Left, all one color like Ruth Rose in A to Z Mysteries, a hat like in This Is Not My Hat, famous scientist or sports star from the non-fiction section in the library, an apron like Amelia Bedelia, etc.
- ACTIVITY: Author Tiffany Rosenhan visits 4th and 5th graders
- Wednesday March 1
- PASTRIES with PARENTS – 7:30 am in Gym. PTA sponsored with a “book tasting” – Come early to read, bring a blanket, have a donut and “taste” different book (genres).
- BOOK: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr.
- SPIRIT DAY: Wear something with writing on it that others can read!
- 3rd grade field trip to the Zoo
- Parent Teacher conferences starting at 3:15 pm
- Thursday March 2 – **Early Dismissal at 1:10 pm
- BOOK: Dragons Love Tacos
- SPIRIT DAY: Eat a taco for lunch or have Taco Thursday for dinner.
- ACTIVITY: Read Across America Day with UWSL volunteers.
- SOTM Assembly at 10:00 am – OWNERSHIP
- Parent Teacher conferences starting at 1:30 pm
- Friday March 3 – NO SCHOOL
NO STUDENT DAY MONDAY MARCH 6 – AT HOME LEARNING! This day was set aside by the Canyons Board of Education for teachers as a work day. Packets will be sent home at Parent Teacher Conferences. Teachers will have scheduled office hours from 10-12 pm.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION 2023-2024 – If you have a child who will be 5 on or before September 1, 2023, they qualify for kindergarten. Please register now so we can get an accurate count of our upcoming class!
